Keep those PRs small!
tl;dr: Keeping your pull requests small will lead to quicker and better quality reviews, allowing you to merge your glorious code into master much sooner. Disclaimer: Many of the behaviours described in this post have been exhibited by myself. I am not directing criticisms towards anyone in particular. Storytime Picture this. Recommendation: Seven Languages in Seven Weeks
tl;dr: Seven Languages in Seven Weeks is an awesome book that I would highly recommend to mid-level developers who’ve ever had a feeling of apprehension when wanting to learn a new language or technology. Towards the end of last year, I was in a 1-2-1 with my line manager. 1-2-1s are meetings that allow you to discuss work issues, ways in which you can improve, air any concerns you have or to just chew the fat....
